Kakar is a daughter of mother Renu Kakar and his father is an army officer. She has two older brothers. She belongs to Hindu descent and she converted his religion to Islam. Kakar was married to Raunak Samson in 2013 and divorced in 2015. She was married to Shoaib Ibrahim in 2018. She Graduated from Pune Maharashtra.

She also worked in film Paltan (2018). She has worked in many television serials and shows. Currently, she is work in Entertainment Ki Raat (2017-18) on Colors TV channel and Qayamath Ki Raat (2018) on Star Plus channel. She is very popular as a simar’s role in Indian TV show Sasural Simar Ka (2011-17) on Colors TV.
